EASY RIDERS RAGING BULLS is a whirlwind of a documentary. From the titles, played back with "Life's Been Good," EASY gets your attention and keeps it. The film is a compendium of interviews, and covers filmmakers from all sides of cinema.
Polanski and the infamous Sharon Tate murder are covered, just as Hopper's lighthearted Mardi Gras exploits are. My favorite anecdote, perhaps from Peter Fonda, took place at a Hollywood gala. As Alfred Hitchcock received a lifetime achievement award at the time of FRENZY, Fonda and his buddies listened in- while smoking pot in the bathroom.
Tales like this one are what makes EASY RIDERS RAGING BULLS a must see.
