Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Rory L — 12 Nov 2010
If Easy Rider did not exist, it would be necessary to invent it. As Peter Fonda's legacy now stands older than 40, it doesn't seem natural to rate numerically in shades of gray-- Easy Rider is a classic and a must-see.
A crown jewel of the 60's counterculture, the art is as in tune as is the picture of the 'hippie' movement, and career performances by Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson are just water under bridges.
