Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Petros T — 13 Jun 2011
A mostly uneventful and uninteresting film. The only really good thing about it is Nicholson's performance (and lines). Apart from that, it's a story of two guys doing drugs with whores in cemetaries, living in communes and so on.
It definitely depicts that age, but, first of all, I almost entirely disagree with the belief that sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll is the way to peace and, second, it's a film that remains crude even in its most profound moments (yeah, it has some of them too).
