Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Lito B — 27 Aug 2008
Though I almost NEVER say this--- this milestone film of 1969 does indeed feel... well... dated! There, I said it out in the open! The significance of this film seems to have waned over the years. While I feel most of the great classics have lost none of their punch, this film benefits today mainly from an early and ace Oscar nominated performance by Jack Nicholson as a Southern lawyer and a great soundtrack! This movie was "Born to Be Wild", but antiquity has tamed this beast.
