Anthemic. This is really a fascinating movie on many levels. It conveys a complex and interesting message with a very simple plot and minimalist dialogue. Two "modern day" cowboy drifters travelling across the updated (to 1960's) version of John Ford's America.
A better movie all around than any of the nominees for best film this year, and it's not even close.
