Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Fraser B — 03 Oct 2008
I've been reading a lot about this film the last few days for my uni course and I'm glad I made the leap and decided to track it down because even now the film crackles with a raw sort of energy.
The soundtrack is still awesome, and the loose, cool structure does nothing to detract from the flow of the story, but above all it's the genuinely fantastic performances of Hopper, Fonda, and Nicholson that I was most delighted to discover; Nicholson, especially stood out, making a role he was never meant to play completely his.
