Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Jonathan B — 09 Mar 2009
The soundtrack aside, this goes down as one of the worst wastes of time I've ever experienced. I can't believe I made it all the way through. Jack Nicholson saved the film during the relatively brief time he was in it.
Oh yeah, and remember not to go south of the dixie line because southerners randomly kill/shoot people all the time--especially peace loving biker-druggies. Wow!! What moron wrote this movie? Dennis Hopper has proven that not only is he a horrendous actor, but also a ridiculous director.
Agh!! What's with all of the flip-back-and-forth editing tricks? I'm sorry to anyone who found this movie profound or who found it life-changing: it's utterly stupid.
