Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Nick T — 25 Aug 2012
Iconic American film now seems dated with its amateurish cinematography, but the story of two counter-culture friends on a cross-country motorcycle journey to mardis gras still has some appeal. The soundtrack is an interesting mix of classic 60's rock and folk, with weird pro-drug songs.
Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper - both writers of the film - are the uncomfortable protagonists, and they are briefly joined by Jack Nicholson.
