Review of Easy A (2010) by Seth S — 10 Jan 2013

It was decent enough. Amusing to see Gwen Stacey as a red head in yet another high school piece. The plot had some interesting ideas, but once it started down that path there was only one place where it could end and it wasn't a good one.

Attempts to sugarcoat it just make that more obvious. For that reason the beginning was much more fun than the end when everything is wrapped up just a bit too nicely. The film basically rests on Stone's charisma, which fortunately is quite enough to hold it together.
