A surprisingly witty excursion into the world of modern American high schools. Emma Stone does a terrific job here, as does Thomas Haden Church, and, of course, Stanley Tucci delivers. The rest of the cast is merely OK.
The writing is very sharp, and plot keeps you entertained throughout. Better than expected.
