David Cronenberg's further adventures into mainstream filmmaking yields impressive results with this tale of the dark deeds of the London chapter of the Russian mob. Literally delivering a ballsy performance, Viggo Mortensen is convincing throughout and the ensemble cast around him lend fine support.
