(movie Tagline:) "Every sin leaves a mark". Yes, and mark of Semyon`s sin is his child.
Eastern Promises is the best Gangster movie I have seen after 2007 to date. It`s characters are like THE GODFATHER but they have more violence.
Cast all are great. Viggo Mortensen makes a scary violent gangster (Like Al Pacino In The Godfather) and Naomi Watts is great but not as "21 Grams".
Screenplay is interesting (but a little Facsimile) and too dark. and sometimes violence is very bad feeling.
A Great film.
