Review of Easter Parade (1948) by Chrisanne S — 20 Dec 2008
Nicely paced musical with two of the top stars in Hollywood (although it would have been nice to see Kelly in this part). Astaire is his classy self, Judy's self-esteem is up, and Lawford is just dandy.
The music, story and costumes all bring out the feeling of laid-back enjoyment. Love Judy's face as she gets men to turn around and look! Who else would do that on film?
