Review of Easter Parade (1948) by Jackie W — 21 Mar 2008
Since Easter is here. I think this was the perfect movie to put on TV. It's a wonderful Broadway movie fulled with dancing, singing and acting. I think that Fred Astaire was a great dancer. I think he did the best out of everyone.
I loved Judy Garland's voice and I totally forgot that she was in the Wizard of Oz. They also have heaps of good quotes, I liked the poem about the roses that was really sweet and how Johnny said his one liner about falling love with someone in the rain.
It was also funny and romantic. I loved it, but then again I love musicals. A must see for Easter.
