Review of East of Eden (1955) by Benjamin F — 10 Jun 2008
A flawed, but entertaining screen adaptation of a John Steinbeck novel. It has a solid supporting cast, but James Dean carries the film. It's been too long since I last saw Rebel Without a Cause to compare the two, but nonetheless, see it for Dean's performance.
This one's a classic.
