Review of Earth (1999) by Ren R — 11 Sep 2007
This is probably one of the most powerful films I have ever seen. It's about the partition of India into India and Pakistan and what happens between the Hidus, Muslims and Seiks. It is incredibly gripping and pertinent to all situations of this kind of discord and has one of those rare endings that leaves you with your heart in your throat and sick to you stomach in its strength.
Be prepared to be upset. But it's really worth watching (this trilogy is All this way).
