Review of Early Summer (1951) by Tee C — 13 Oct 2007
The best movie about family life I have ever seen next to Tokyo Story. This is in fact the first Ozu film I've seen but it became the basis in watching the rest of his films and connecting with them.
Truly my favourite director of all time and one to emulate for his simplicity and sophistication.
