Review of Dynamite Warrior (2006) by Lee D — 11 Jul 2007

What I like about Tony Jaa movies is the fact that he doesn't use wires or CGI; making him the greatest new face in martial arts. However Dynamite Warrior uses wirework and CGI frequently; and for some reason the filmmakers get away with it.

It's no Ong Bak, it's no Tom yum goong, it doesn't even match Born to fight; but Dynamite Warrior towers (in the action department) over most Hollywood action movies made in recent years. It's not a five star movie because it's not really funny when it tries to be, and Tony Ja simply does this stuff much better; but if you're iching for more high flying Thai action movie craziness -- look no further.
