Review of Dutch (1991) by Austin M — 29 Oct 2007
This is the first comedy I've seen in a while that actually doesn't suspend my disbelief. I keep thinking, this is the least responsible character I've ever seen! Would have been better if Dutch and the kid bonded out of having fun instead of Dutch guilt-tripping the kid into sympathy.
Still, Ed O'Neill does an awesome job with the goofy comedy, and the rare dramatic moments with the kid.
