Review of Duplicity (2009) by Jack W — 18 Dec 2009

I really looked forward to seeing this movie but I was very disappointed. It seemed to me that Gilroy was trying to emulate what Soderbergh did with the Ocean films but just failed miserably. The convoluted narrative was just too hard to follow.

There was absolutely NO chemistry between Roberts and Owen. And Julia, what has happened to her? Once my favorite actress, she was once charming and captivating in her roles. Now she just comes out as flat and boring and going through the motions.
