Review of Duplicity (2009) by Scott W — 16 May 2010
Um... what??? Ok, so maybe I'm the one who's slow and who doesn't get anything, but I had several problems with this movie.
Since apparently the relationship between the two protagonists is the main focus of the film (despite what the title and summary suggest) it seems I should address this one first. So, Problem number 1 : Impossible love between two rival agents = seen a thousand times before, and there's really nothing that makes this thousandth version better that the others.
Problem number 2 : The plot is at times wildly confusing, at others wildly unrealistic, to an extent that almost rivals with POTC 3.
And finally, Problem number 3 : You call that an ending?!
