Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Bradford Y — 23 Jan 2018
For some . . . inexplicable . . . reason . . . an entirely logical sequence of events that comprised the Nazi encirclement of the British Army . . . and . . . that Army's rescue by perhaps more that one thousand British boats and ships .
. . has been reduced to an unnecessarily uneven, unsatisfying 107 minutes. While casting is solid . . . script, direction editing are abysmal. Oscar nominated for Best Picture? ! ? The Emperor Has No Clothes.
