Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Chris S — 10 Aug 2017
I don't particularly like war movies as a genre, so I wasn't expecting to like this movie. I was pleasantly surprised. Even though there was little focus on dialogue or developing individual characters, the way the action was shot and the ominous music made this a true spectacle! Dunkirk makes you feel like you are seeing WWII first-hand, and you actually feel sorrow and hopelessness for the soldiers in this dire situation.
Definitely worth viewing for anybody interested in or studying World War II.
