Most over-hyped movie in history. Very little production value. Same Navy ship used in all scenes. Three British fighters, three German fighters, and one German bomber in whole movie. Over 330,000 soldiers; British, French, and Belgium were evacuated from the beaches at Dunkirk.
In the movie they used about 1000 extras in a total of three lines. Although they convinced a bunch of French fishermen to appear in the horizon, only about 12 civilian craft were actually used in the movie.
What a bunch of cheapskates. There have been many Dunkirk movies that were much better done! A huge disappointment.
