The movie was disappointing. Other than the historical aspect of the rescue that could have been handled in a 20 minute documentary, there was little to offer beyond the special effects. There was very little character development or plot development.
Basically, it was a movie built on a heroic story of resilience and rescue, but left us disappointed. I would recommend that you wait for the on-demand version.
