Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Brian D — 03 Aug 2017
I have great respect for Nolan and what he was trying to do with his film and the film is technically brilliant, with some well done moments of tension. The film just doesn't work. The film is devoid of any emotion due to Nolan's lack of interest in developing or even naming his characters.
And the time differences between different characters storylines feels needlessly complicated and adds nothing to the story.
