Dunkirk is a startling turn taken by Nolan which reaffirms his versatility no matter what content he takes up, continuing to be an inspiration.
It is a rare movie which accurately depicts war events in the most believable and ground breaking manner possible, a class apart from the other war movies which may otherwise have been cinematic gems focussing more on mainstream sentiments.
Overall, Dunkirk is a thrilling mix of innovation which comes with every Nolan movie except that this time its grounded and hard hitting reality.
