Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Kyle K — 20 Jul 2017
Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible movie. You are paying to see a handful of men stand on a beach for 30 minutes, two planes fight for 15 then some boats float for another 15 then 45 minutes of repeated scenes from a different perspective.
The scenes aren't even that intense or interesting. Supposedly there were 400k on a beach that needed saving, doesn't really seem like 400k nor is the why really communicated that well. I don't even see why British would like the movie, it makes their soldiers look like bunch of cowards, the only one's fighting are the French and some RAF pilots.
Their citizens step up and do their duty, big whippy do da.
