Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Jonas C — 21 Jul 2017
This was a really good film that told the story of men stuck in dunkirk looking for a way to get home. There are e different characters that are focused on, which can lead to pacing issues. Tom Hardy's character, who was flying the plane, was the most boring time of the movie, and everytime they showed him I just wanted it to get back to the others.
The movie really is outstanding during big moments when bombs are dropping, or people are getting shot at. People complain about character development, but I don't really think it is an issue in this film.
Good, but not for everyone.
