Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Dhamar M — 21 Jul 2017
This is an epic movie detailing the great retreat of the Allies early in World War 2. This film is epic, both in the sense of the story, but also the size and pace of the movie. My main critique of the film is that one can sometimes get lost because (a) there are so many threads of the story, and (b) there are virtually no names used, so it can be hard to follow characters.
Nevertheless this is worth your time and money. The film is quite overwhelming, but I imagine that is exactly what the writer / director intended. Three out of four stars for Dunkirk.
