Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Marius I — 20 Jul 2017

My favorite genre is war, but this time I'm in the small category of maybe 25% that were very bored during this movie. Found it difficult to get thru the first hour, then some interesting things started to happen (and it didn't hurt I knew it will be over soon).

I liked a lot the transitions between the timelines. But the characters were underdeveloped, the scenes without dialogue or even a suspenseful scene were too many for a runtime of 100 min (think "Thin Red Line" but that did it way better).
