Some great cinematography, but that is all I can say positive. I was not invested in the characters. In fact I only know one of their names! It was boring and I couldn't wait for it to be over. If a friend asked what war movie should I see this one would be near the bottom.
It does make me want to see if the 1958 version is any better.
