Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Joe B — 02 Aug 2017
Christopher Nolan always expects a lot from his audiences. This is not a movie for those wanting to be spoon-fed. The editing forces you to think, if you are going to follow the plot. The minimalism removes all commentary from the tough decisions shown.
The result, for those up to Nolan's challenge, is well worth it. One of the best war movies I've seen in a long time.
