Review of Dungeons & Dragons (2000) by Jeffrey K — 10 Apr 2011
While I don't know what a "numpty" is, I have to agree with my friend, Colin Goodman. Dungeons & Dragons itself has many wondrous stories, yet the decision was made to use someone's homebrew campaign instead of some of the greatest adventures ever told.
Other than some awesome appearances by certain cast members, a few attractive extras, and being able to see special effects for the dimension door spell, I was very disappointed when I had gone to see it on opening day.
The dragons move so slow, you can't help but wonder if someone forgot to adjust the speed correctly when adding the special effects. In a parallel universe, I bet R.A. Salvatore is working on his fourth D&D movie.
