Review of Dungeons & Dragons (2000) by Mace R — 15 Jul 2012
It's been over a decade since Dungeons & Dragons failed miserably in every conceivable way. I never had the chance to experience it myself, but I recently did so with great joy... I suppose. Well yeah, the movie is pretty bad, but if you're looking for something to laugh at, then you might want to check it out.
It's horrible in every way possible, but there's enough to keep you laughing almost the entire time. I know I certainly was. I think I laughed mostly at the horrible acting on, well, everyone's part.
In particular, Thora Birch and Bruce Payne. Especially Thora Birch, who I was shocked at being so horrible. Maybe it's not her fault. Maybe she's just miscast or maybe it's the material. Who knows? All I know is that the movie is entertaining on that sort of level, and not on any other.
I'm sure if you see it, you'll agree with me.
