Review of Dumbo (1941) by Bradley C — 03 Aug 2013
I recommend this movie.
Children tend to latch onto certain cartoon movies and just watch them over and over again much to their parents' sanity. For my nephew it was Robin Hood the cartoon. For me it was Dumbo. I would watch this over and over again as a child. My favorite part, according to mother, was any part with the train. I loved trains, planes and tractors as a child. Strangely I never was all that mechanical minded. This movie is a touching movie and the overall concept that it teaches I think is quite wonderful. We don't need anything to be successful with our talents we just need to believe in ourselves. Okay, so I admit, when Dumbo get visiting rights to his mother, I cry. That moment of tenderness and love is just so beautiful.
