Review of The Good Dinosaur (2015) by Foxusa — 28 Nov 2015

The Good Dinosaur is a visually stunning film that departs from the Pixar way of telling stories. This film had many moments that pushed the story telling envelope to far. From characters eating other animals on screen, to characters getting high by eating old fruit.

I do not believe Peter Sohn has the ability to tell a story in a Pixar way. Pixars other films are relaxed, optimistic and generally playful. This movie was not. It had a rapid successions of peaks and valleys with disturbing story elements mixed in.

I hope this is an exception not an example for content we expect from Disney and Pixar.
