Review of Dumbo (1941) by Chanel M — 12 Jun 2014
I've just watched it today, for the first time in years. It is a wonderful film, with so many important messages. Firstly - kids don't support the circus, they are evil. Using and abusing the animals for profit (which is all they care about).
Secondly, there is nothing stronger than a mother's love, especially with elephants, where the mothers will even carry their baby's corpses around after they have been dead for a long time. Linking with the latter - remember that animals (especially elephants) are intelligent beings filled with emotion (we are NOT better than they are).
Thirdly, don't care what other people say about you, go out and make a success of yourself (use your flaws as your strengths).
