Dumb and Dumber To had some big shoes to fill after all this time, so it comes to no surprise that the sequel doesn't live up to its predecessor. Great actors Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are subjected to a dumb plot with dumber gags that earn some chuckles but mostly fall into a pit of stupidity.
It's a messy movie and a waste of good talent but for the sake of purely seeing these two run around like idiots in the same movie again, I have no regrets giving it a chance.
