COMEDY.
Second Farrelly Brother feature after smash hit "There's Something About Mary" starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as the title says which the snow road trip is nothing more than a backdrop to showcase over-the-top comedic situations which some wouldn't happen in real life but are possible to be shown on film. Jeff Daniels in the ex-lax scene was worth a price of admission alone which was reused again as a comedy bit on one of the SNL skits was used in great effect when he was a guest appearance.
