Review of Duck Soup (1933) by Jayson F — 18 Feb 2008
There are too many jokes in this movie for it to be funny. I love comedy of the absurd, but insanity demands sanity as a reference point, and Duck Soup offers no such oasis. There are a few inspired moments, but most of Duck Soup is more grating than anything else.
Adjustment made for time period.
