The marx brothers were the masters of wordplay and puns.
Pure genius. I love all of their movies (particularly the earlier ones with zeppo that they did for RKO pictures) but Duck Soup is my favorite.
Their brilliance and manic delivery was more unrestrained and raw in this film, which mussolini banned from being shown in italy because he took it as a personal insult. the brothers were thrilled to learn of this.
