Review of Duck Soup (1933) by David P — 23 Oct 2010
While this is an "AFI Top 100" film, it may take more context in early cinema to really "get it." The madcap style feels more like a Loony Tune than any modern form of comedy, and the verbal banter and punning has no modern equivalent.
Still, an interesting slice of history, and a few good gags along the way.
