Review of Drunken Master (1978) by Eric K — 26 Oct 2007
This is Jackie Chan's best film, with great humor and fight choreography. The pace is a little slow at times, but it builds well to the climactic unveiling of the Drunken Fist Kung Fu moves before the final showdown with the villain.
If you've ever tried Chinese wine, you will understand the true sacrifice and rigor necessary to master this most esoteric of Kung Fu styles.
