Review of Drums Along the Mohawk (1939) by Lorraine T — 05 Jan 2010
At once rebels AND imperialists. Don't feel sorry for anyone who needs a fort, fortress, castle, or palace. In any case, Fonda and Colbert here are so cloying and mewling that I only maintained interest in the faint hope of seeing them both scalped by Mohawks.
I blame the story, not John Ford.
