Drumline!!! It is great music movie (Especially the drumming). If you see the Devon?s fantastic drumming, you will like him.

Devon Miles (Nick Cannon) is a one of snare drummers. He graduates a high school and receives a special admission into university for his drumming. After the entrance, he gets into marching band. But, his campus life is not smooth because he is a problematic. He always makes problems. Because of this, Sean Taylor (Leonard Roberts) who is the leader of drumline wants to expel him from drumline for teamwork. At that time, Dr. Lee (Orlando Jones) notices that Devon can?t read music. So, he is in danger to expel from the band.

I like Devon?s facial acts. His face is very funny but sometimes changes seriously, especially when he plays drum.

In this movie, all the characters and people focus on Devon?s face which is serious when he plays drum. Because of his serious face, I also could feel his concentration and difficulty of his drumbeat.

The excited crowds, Dr Lee?s stare and Devon?s face make me forget other things. I couldn't get away from Devon?s drumbeat while watching the movie.

I think, actors? good facial acts make the scenes be realistic. Although this movie didn?t show us Devon and Devon?s drum at the same time, I couldn?t have any doubts about authenticity of his playing. Also, the camera closed up Devon?s face when he playing, so they made us concentrate his face.

In addition, the soundtracks (and BGMs) were great and they also added tensions while he plays drum.

I think facial acts, camera works and BGMs made this movie perfect. So I couldn?t think anything and was focusing on the movie.

It was really great movie. When the crowds were swinging their body, I could find myself swinging like them. If you like music, I want to recommend you this movie. You might be attracted by Devon and A&T band.
