Gus Van Sant at his finest. Matt Dillon is amazing...it truly is a gem of a film. good writing, good directing, good acting...what more could you want? it truly is perfection. plus, William S. Burroughs performance at the ex-drug addict now turned priest is amazing.
..it's almost worth watching the film just to see his little bit part. can we say irony?
