Wow, I just rewatched this for the first time since it was released. When I was about 14 I *loved* Matt Dillon. Watching this film reminded me why. Not only is he HOT, but he really is a great actor. I think this is probably my favourite Van Sant film.
Nice cameos by Burroughs add a slice of authenticity to this junkie movie. Great music too!
