Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Simon S — 30 Jan 2006
In my opinion, Gus Van Sant's finest film... A cautionary tale about the evils of drug abuse in a simillar vein to Trainspotting, albeit set 20 years earlier. Although by no means a good guy in this- Matt Dillon is cool as hell as the tragic hero- and William Burroughs is spellbinding to watch as the junkie priest.
GO AND GET THIS FILM!!!
