Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Quinn Nash — 15 May 2008
Ever since I rented this in 1990 it has been my fave movie of all time. They do not make gritty dramas like this anymore. Dillon and Lynch should have won Oscars for their lead performances. Max Perlich and a young Heather Graham nail their supporting roles and any movie with a perfect William S.
Burroughs cameo is a special movie. I rank this dark, at times poignant Gus Van Sant masterpiece an absolute must see!
